On Tuesday, July 23, crews lifted a WWII Bailey Bridge from atop the Sanpoil Bridge on SR 21. The Bailey Bridge was constructed as a temporary solution in 2017 when flooding washed out the south approach leading up to the bridge. The Bailey Bridge was lifted and placed in a temporary location to allow for the new permanent bridge to be built.
