In this video i will be showing the level of work done on the construction of Abule Egba Bus terminal, the loading bay for BRT buses presently in use and a glimpse of Abule Egba roundabout.
The Lagos state government is presently constructing a major bus terminal on the Abule Egba axis of Lagos state. The construction is part of the efforts the state government is taking to revolutionize public transportation and ease connectivity within the state. There are different bus terminal under construction by the state government which are at different level of construction in different part of Lagos at the moment, these projects are part of the commitment to reform public transportation services with special attention on ensuring comfort for commuters.
The terminal upon completion will serve commuters in this axis and will also complement the Abule Egba flyover which is also known as jubilee bridge and the Oshodi Abule Egba bus rapid transit (BRT) corridor.
The BRT plying this routes makes use of the loading bay which is by Katangua but once the bus terminal is completed it will open more routes for BRT buses to make use of the high, medium and small capacity buses will ply different routes around this axis.
