Continuing our J1 Exceptional Hardship Waiver series, today we'll be talking about how government funding can affect your application.

First of all it is important to always keep in mind that to be eligible for a J1 Exceptional Hardship waiver you need a qualifying relative. The relative needs to be a US Citizen Spouse or Child or Permanent Resident Spouse or Child. These is the entry requirements for a hardship waiver.

If you don't have a qualifying relative there might be other immigration solutions for your particular situation.

That set aside we will be talking in detail about the J1 waiver process and how it works and what you must know if you have received government funding.
