Everything in Jodhpur Park was looking like a land of aliens this year. It was quite a fairy tale atmosphere. However Jodhpur Park has done better implementations in the past. Notice the wall painted in the style of cave paintings. When I went to Jodhpur Park's pandal I witnessed dedication and prayers on the occassion of mahaashtami pushpanjali. After the pushpanjali people do not throw the flowers. Its collected in the basket and then the basket of flowers offered to Durga's footsteps.The pushpanjali happens in 4 rounds. In the final round they do not use flowers. Its prayer offered with folded hands.
