Kleicha is a deeply traditional treat, reaching back to ancient Babylonia. “It’s a collection of memories, more than just a pastry.” The El Mutwalli family has been making kleicha for years during Ramadan. On average, they make around 1,100 pounds of cookies! To make things even better, they give them away as gifts to family, friends, and those in their community.
