The National Council of Metal Detecting is committed to publicising the importance of responsible detecting. This video outlines our Code of Conduct, a cornerstone of the NCMD’s values and one that every member must adhere to as a condition of membership.

It is aimed primarily at new entrants to our hobby but is also a quick reminder of the code for anyone involved in the hobby. Please share it with any friends and family who may have received their first metal detector recently or who are considering metal detecting as a hobby.
