Temperatures were beautiful yesterday for mid January. We were well above average. Today and tomorrow we will be a few degrees above still. However, as we round out the week and head into the weekend temps will fall again but more to around a normal level. Still much better than the highs in the teens last week. Temps next week will rebound some but fluctuate a bit.
The next chance for precipitation comes once we head into the weekend. Today there is a slim chance for a bit of sprinkles/flurries. Then a chance for some of us to see some precip comes once we head into the weekend, but this still is not looking major at all for us. Much higher snow totals and chances are west on Friday then will be south of and then east of us on Saturday and Sunday. This system will pack the punch in some areas, just not here. We could pick up a little bit though on Saturday and if we do, this will cause some slick spots.
Winds will be between 5-15mph Thursday and 5-10mph Thursday night.
Temperatures Thursday will be around 40 degrees. Overnight Thursday, temps will be in the upper 20s/lower 30s.
