Dr. Vera Rubin was an astronomer who made groundbreaking discoveries in dark matter studies and was a lifelong advocate for women in STEM. Rep. Jenniffer González Colón and House Science Chairwoman Eddie Bernice Johnson are honoring Dr. Rubin with a bill to name the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) facility for her.
