I've been working on building an analog hd video synth / effects unit. The machine takes in 1080p24 via component video, and 5 channels of audio. It uses some PIC microcontrollers to separate out the luma and sync, and to generate pixel clocks. In this video I share a quick little circuit using a BC548 NPN transistor to modulate the luminance of the video using line level audio.
