M42, or commonly known as the Orion Nebula, is among the most famous astrophotography target out there! But looks are deceiving because this monster is both beautiful and a challenge to photograph and process. The Orion Nebula is very bright, shining at 4th magnitude. You can even see it from the city usually! But CCD cameras bring out the beauty and why it's called the "GREAT" Orion Nebula. Come along as we photograph this ever so popular target from light polluted galore. You'll be surprised how well it comes through!
