Hi folks, In this video I show what happens to a potted Christmas Poinsettia when it’s grown outdoors in the ground. The garden shown here is at it’s least attractive due to our normal Southern California summer-fall drought. This garden relies only on rainfall which we only received once in the last eight months. ~ Plants shown in general order are : Euphorbia tirucalli ‘firesticks’ / Euphorbia ammak, green and variegated / Parkinsonia hybrid tree ‘desert museum’ aka Palo Verde / Fucrea foetida / Phoenix robelini aka dwarf date palm / Agave attenuata aka foxtail agave / Agave Victoria-reginea / Euphorbia lactea variegata crested / Various Echeveria / Aeonium ‘swartzkop’ / Aloe striata / Cycas revoluta aka Sago Palm / Zamia furfuracea / Aloe plicatilis- new name Kumara plicatilis aka fan aloe / Pachypodium lamerei / Allaudia procera / Cleistocactus strausii aka silver torch cactus / Beaucarnia recurvata aka ponytail palm / Euphorbia pulcherrima aka poinsettia.
