The classic overture of Orpheus in the Underworld arranged by the Austrian musician Carl Binder for the first production of the opera in Vienna, 1860. The finale includes the world famous 'Can-Can' but did you know that name is actually from the show performed at the Moulin Rouge in Paris in the late 19th century? In fact it borrowed the music of Act 4's 'Galop Infernal'. Performed at the Mountbatten Festival of Music in the iconic Royal Albert Hall, London.
