BLACK SAMBO Recipe is a two layered jelly or gelatin made of cream milk and chocolate. This dessert is very popular in the philippines beacause you don't need to bake it you can call it a No Bake Dessert.

Black Sambo Recipe
Ingredients
CHOCOLATE LAYER
1 pack (25g) gelatin powder, clear and unflavored (diluted in1 ½ cup water)
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (diluted in 1 cup warm water)
1 big can evaporated milk
¾ cup sugar
WHITE LAYER
1 pack (25g) gelatin powder, clear and unflavored (diluted in 2 ½ cup water)
1 big can condensed milk
1 pack (250 ml) all-purposed cream
Procedure
1. Dissolve cocoa powder in 1 cup warm water. Set aside.
2. Dissolve 1 pack gelatin powder into 1 ½ cup of water. Put pan with the gelatin mixture into a stove over medium heat and let it boil.
3. Once it boil lower the heat and add diluted cocoa powder, evaporated milk and sugar. Stir continuously until well combined. Turn off heat.
4. Transfer chocolate gelatin mixture into a mold or container. Let it cool for a bit to set and chill in the ref for 30 minutes.
5. For the white layer. Combine gelatin powder and water. Mix well until it dissolved.
6. Put pan with the gelatin mixture into a stove over medium heat and let it boil.
7. Once it boils lower the heat and add all-purpose cream and condensed milk. Stir until well combined. Turn off the heat.
8. Slowly pour white gelatin mixture on top of chocolate layer. Let it cool to set. Chill in the the ref until you’re ready to eat it.
