🛒INGREDIENTS:
Dough:
- 275-300 grams of flour
- 4 grams of instant dry yeast
- 125 ml warm milk
- 1 egg
- 35 grams of sugar
- 40 grams of soft butter
- a pinch of salt
Cinnamon Filling:
- 50 grams of butter
- 75 grams of sugar
- 10 grams of flour
- 8 grams of cinnamon
- 1 egg white
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping:
- 70 grams of cream cheese
- 1.5 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk
📃 Preparation Method:
Mix 125ml warm milk, 35 grams of sugar, 4 grams of instant dry yeast, and let the yeast dissolve for a bit.
Add 1 egg, 275-300 grams of flour, and a pinch of salt. Mix the dough.
Then add 40 grams of soft butter.
You can knead it by hand; it's a soft dough. The mixer comes to my aid every time.
Place it in an oiled bowl. Let it rise for 60 minutes in a warm place.
Prepare the cinnamon filling: Mix 50 grams of butter, 75 grams of sugar, 15 grams of flour, 8 grams of cinnamon, 1 egg white, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Roll out the dough into a 40 x 25 cm (15 x 10 inches) rectangle.
Spread the cinnamon filling over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly. Cut rolls using dental floss and place them in a buttered baking pan.
Let them rise for 40-60 minutes in a warm place.
Prepare the cream cheese topping: 70 grams of cream cheese, 1.5 tablespoons of powdered sugar. If the cream cheese is thicker, you can add 2 tablespoons of milk. Beat until smooth and creamy.
Preheat the oven to 370°F / 180°C. Bake for 20 minutes until they are lightly brown. If you notice they are browning too quickly, cover with aluminum foil and continue baking.
Spread the frosting over the hot rolls.
