A couple months ago I went to the range. After we got back I took the Magazine out of the Springfield XD mod 2 to clean the gun. I immediately noticed a rattle sound coming from the magazine. Wasn't sure at the time of the exact reason, but wanted to make a quick video of the issue of it for those of you that are new to fire arms. This is the update of that and what I believe to be the cause of the issue. I cleaned and inspected the magazine, spring and follower. It was a little dirty due to it being the magazine I carry in it 95% of the time. I ran approximately 150 rounds through this same magazine with zero issues.
