Ever had busted ribs? It's complete misery!
Recently I got into a moto crash out in the desert and busted my ribs, it's now into the fourth week of recovery and I'm ready to ride but not without protection for my ribs.
During my downtime I researched lots of armor for the upper body and finally settled on a product by TekRider called the TekVest. This model is the Crossover Vest. It gives me protection from my sternum to belly button and excellent protection of my ribs. It can be worn over a jacket and is designed to be worn with a pack. It is also compatible with detachable shoulder pads.
In this video I take a good look at the vest and try it on with different jackets and then see how it feels while riding on and off road. Overall, I think this armor will be well worth the money spent and hopefully I won't ever have to experience how well it protects my ribs.
