Roger Barr (born 1937) is a racer, TV personality, auto enthusiast & mechanic. Roger even worked in the US Air Force as a mechanic and got his technical experiences while stationed in Germany. He is popular for his roles in the hit Discovery Channel show Chasing Classic Cars.

Roger Barr’s admirers were disappointed when he disappeared from the show. He was even hospitalized & there were rumors about his death also. However, as posts began to appear on his Facebook page, which his son and wife run, the air surrounding his death began to clear.

Even though Roger is doing well, he hasn't returned to presenting the show with Carini, and he doesn't even work full-time in his shop. Roger Barr and his wife, Sally Barr, are currently residing in New England. He appears to be working on automobiles again these days, albeit just for half days and mainly as a consultant.
