Mitch from native survival has challenged every one that watches his channel to light a fire using feather sticks and a ferro rod , so i thought i would except the challenge and make a video.
using a sharp mora knife i made a feather stick , then made some very fine curls at the base which i could light with my ferro rod.
Its a very usefull means of lighting fire as you can make your own tinder from the inside of dead standing wood when everything else is wet.
