Chris Hoffman has served various leadership roles, serves on several boards and most recently, you know her as the Mayor of Jacksonville Beach. This hard-working "Navy kid" shares how important being involved in the community has always been to her and what we can do to champion diversity efforts. She emphasizes that "as a city, we need to involve as many citizens as we can so that we can get as many diverse voices as possible. It'd exciting that all three Mayors at the beach are women".
Her story of success includes building partnerships, listening and surrounding yourself with people you can trust. As Chris shares, "When a friend of mine said, ‘I stand at the intersection of our community's history and its future.’, that really resonated and I really feel like that's a great place to be with great responsibility."
