Polish Air Force Sukhoi SU-22's beautiful display at RIAT Fairford 2014 in beautiful sunshine, in glistening Full HD. Date Filmed: 12th July 2014. In this video you will see two Sukhoi 22's from the Polish Air Force display next to each other at RIAT 2014. It is very rare to see SU-22's in the UK because they rarely operate into Western Europe. These aircraft are based in Swidwin in Poland with approximately 26 other SU-22's. The SU-22 operates beside the F-16 and the MiG.29 in the combat area for the Polish Air Force. It was a real shame that the F-35 Lightning II was grounded and so couldn't fly at this years RIAT, but, I didn't feel that the Airshow lost out because of this. There were plenty of other brilliant flying displays on offer!
