A SUSPECT accused of murdering PCSO Julia James poked his tongue out as he left court today in handcuffs.
Callum Wheeler, 21, was arrested on Friday night around eight miles from where the mum-of-two, 53, was bludgeoned to death in Snowdown, Kent.
He appeared in person at Medway Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The suspect was seen for the first time as he made his way to a prison van in handcuffs.
Wheeler spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address during the short hearing.
He was remanded in custody to next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday.
Julia's body was discovered in Akholt Wood, where she had been walking her dog Toby on April 27.
