The LEGO Group has unveiled this year’s addition to the Winter Village Collection in 10325 Alpine Lodge, which moves away from the city and into the mountains for a cosy festive build.
With only three more pieces than last year’s 10308 Holiday Main Street for the same price, 10325 Alpine Lodge includes a two-storey lodge (not dissimilar in architecture and style to the microscale 40594 Houses of the World 3 gift-with-purchase), a snowmobile with a trailer and Christmas tree, a frozen pond with a pier, a snowman, snow-covered trees and even an outhouse.
The lodge – named Two Pines Inn – looks to make efficient use of its relatively shallow interior, packing in a fireplace with armchairs, a bar serving hot drinks, space to place and decorate the Christmas tree and multiple beds (including one tucked away in the attic). There’s also a light brick, which illuminates both the main fireplace on the ground floor and the smaller fireplace in the child’s bedroom. Right next to his bed. Seems safe.
