Bosch expands its Budapest Engineering Center, their biggest European R&D unit outside of Germany, with an EUR 120 million investment. In the new building complex housing offices, labs, creative spaces, innovation zones, and relaxation areas, Hungarian engineers will develop Bosch’s self-driving systems and the Budapest unit will also have a considerable role in the German company’s electromobility-related R&D activities. The first phase of the investment is set to be finished by 2021.
