The practical external monitor has a screen diagonal of seven inches and is operated quickly and conveniently via a touch screen. FeelWorld FW568 V2 is a compact 5.5" IPS monitor outfitted with 500 cd/m² brightness and many video assist functions. Like its predecessor, the FW568 V2 supports 4K HDMI in and out. It uses Rec. 709 color standard with color calibration for accurate color reproduction and vivid image viewing. It expands the previous model's capabilities by including waveform monitoring and support for up to 32 custom 3D LUTs.
Two 1/4 "-20 threads on the monitor allow it to be attached to the included tilt arm, which offers a cold shoe mount to integrate a shotgun microphone or LED light into your run-and-gun setup. The monitor boasts a 1000:1 contrast and an L-Series battery plate on the back panel. The operating system of the FW568 V2 includes framing, focus, and exposure tools, such as image flip, zoom, and anamorphic modes. An 8.4 VDC output can distribute additional power to your DSLR or mirrorless camera to extend its runtime in the field.
The A7S 7" Full HD Monitor from Lilliput features an HDMI 1.4 input, making it suitable for UHD 4K filmmaking and photography. With a 16:10 aspect ratio and 1000:1 contrast, the LCD panel displays Full HD images. The HDMI loop-through function allows you to output via HDMI to any other compatible device. If you have upgraded to the 4K workspace, the A7S offers control over your shooting workflow both in the field and studio. You can create shortcuts to your favorite and most used monitor functions using the two customizable function keys. You can mount the monitor to your camera by attaching the included shoe mount adapter to the 1/4 "-20 threads at the bottom. You can also use the VESA 75 hole at the back to attach the A7S to other mounts.
The Shinobi is constructed using polycarbonate, giving the monitor a lightweight feel. The polycarbonate material does make the monitor feel very delicate in your hands. Still, it is assured that it's quite durable in the field. The top and bottom of the Shinobi feature 1/4 20" holes for mounting purposes, and you'll find a single HDMI input on the left side, just above the headphone jack. On the opposite side of the camera, you have a remote control input, along with an SD card slot that can be used to load custom LUTs. And on the back, there's a single locking battery slot compatible with Sony L-series batteries.
The monitor is incredibly detailed, sharp, and, most importantly, bright. It's rated at 1000nits, which means you can still see a clear picture, even when shooting in direct sunlight.
