Julian Assange's brother Gabriel Shipton spoke out ahead of the "Fund People's Needs, Not the War Machine" march in front of the White House on Saturday.
"He did what journalists should be doing, publishing without fear or favor," he described of the Wikileaks founder.
Quoting his brother, he concluded: "If war can be started by lies, then peace can be started by truth," which led the crowd to chant "Free Julian Assange!"
