Well, you may think that you could never find any Live 5 News stuff from the early-mid 2000s (aside from the 2002 stuff), but what you see here, is a different WCSC open, but still using Convergence by Stephen Arnold, in June of 2004! Apparently, later in the year they will dump it for U-Phonix. The open is a lot similar to the opens of its sister stations, WBTV and WWBT, since they are owned by Jefferson-Pilot Communications, differences however, is that flagship WBTV used 615's Right Here, Right Now (shout-out to KFMB Local 8!), and WWBT used Gari's NBC News Now.
Hopefully someone else will unearth all the Lowcountry, Triad, Triangle, and the Metrolina stuff, for all to see!
By the way, the voiceover in the open is none other than Joe Van Riper himself, who was left uncredited on the NMSA until last year!
