This week’s adventure takes Jim (Daddy Merc) and our friend Doug to the side of Ossipee Hill in Waterboro, Maine to scope out some foundations and cellar holes that a friend mentioned seeing while hiking with his family. We would later learn, after finding a very cool piece of history, that we were detecting the site of the 1800 Ossipee House a very early summer hotel owned and operated by the prominent Swett family. Stay tuned till the end to see what happens with this cool piece of history.
