We are baking and glazing a beautiful MIRROR CAKE this week to celebrate FTK's 100 subscribers! We never give up but sometimes recipes just don't work even if others are successful. Baking is a science, each step and ingredient is important - can we follow the recipe and make this glaze? Will we get frustrated? Will we be amazed? Will we be able to celebrate in style? Only way to know is to start, so c'mon and let's make a selfie cake.

QUICK TIPS WE LEARNED AFTER TEST:
1. Use a thermometer as instructed.
2. Use white chocolate chips for easier melting.
3. Use vibrant colors for glaze, I used a neon color that didn't have enough pigmentation.
4. Add white food coloring to your colors to make them pop and less translucent.
5. A smooth surface on the cake is best, need patience and a steady hand plus the right tools.
6. Have to serve right away after glaze sets - about 10 minutes.
7. Sometimes you just gotta give up or try again :)
