So, here’s the deal: I’ve spent my whole life trying to make my art look perfect. You know, nailing anatomy, rendering, composition—just making stuff look fancy. Then AI art came along and basically said, “Cute. I can do that in 30 seconds.”

At first, I felt defeated. Why spend hours on something a robot can churn out instantly? People kept saying, “Just put humanity into your art!” Cool advice... but what does that even mean?

Then it hit me: storytelling. AI can make pretty pictures, but it can’t tell my story. It doesn’t have awkward grocery store thoughts or random midnight epiphanies. So, I’m going to focus on that—sharing my weird little human moments instead of obsessing over making everything look perfect.

If you’re an artist feeling the AI blues, maybe this helps. Machines can’t replace your messy, chaotic, beautiful brain. So, keep making stuff that’s you.
