I couldn't get any footage outside of this one match because video recording isn't allowed in the regular season matches, but hopefully this one segment gives you a taste of what Varsity Quiz is like. I really do enjoy participating in Varsity Quiz a lot, because it does allow me to outline and see where I am strong at, and what I need to work on. For example, any questions about literature, I might as well put my buzzer down and take a nap, but things about history, maybe I have a shot. It also allows me to see how brilliant other kids are in our district. Usually, my view into the other schools is glazed by some other competitive aspect, but this is purely an educational competition, and wow some of these kids are brilliant, like a educational sponge. We've also shown perseverance by keeping Varsity Quiz going, even if Theory of Knowledge did eat away at an hour's worth of time after school where we could be practicing at buzzer discipline and whatnot. But, I would really like to commend Sruthi for being the captain and leading this rag tag group to the semifinals. No one else could've done it. And, that shows the benefits of working collaboratively. Sure, we did have a captain, but the team wouldn't have existed without the players to fill out the team, help set up, help break down, and everything else that comes along with running a Varisty Quiz team. I would like to thank everyone for a great season.
