The US state of Florida is on alert, as it prepares for Hurricane Irma to make landfall. It's been upgraded to a Category 4 storm, and it's heading for St. Petersburg, where it's expected to hit early on Sunday. As many as 5.6 million people have been ordered to evacuate.
