Had @sinpopobrand ‘s Nasi Lemak many times at their old Joo Chiat spot before they moved to Tangs Plaza. They recently launched a brand-new 𝙉𝙖𝙨𝙞 𝙇𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙠 𝘿𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨 menu featuring a free-flow sides platter! I’ve always wanted to stop by for a tea break during my weekend shopping trips, but the queue is always long (note to self: make a reservation next time!).
The cozy vibe here creates the perfect setting for a relaxing dining experience—and it’s great for people-watching too. Their signature twice-steamed butterfly pea flower coconut rice is as fragrant and fluffy as ever, pairing well with our 5 chosen mains out of the 12 options available:

But honestly, we enjoyed the free-flow sides even more! I couldn’t get enough of the addictive har bi hiam cashews, crispy ikan bilis, Ma Ling luncheon crisps, tangy achar achar, sambal soft-centered egg, pickled cucumber, and of course, the must-have sambal chili to go with the nasi lemak.
