This video shows how to determine how much CO2 is left in your tank. I've been pushing my luck with this tank, and I want to know how much more beer I can force carb and serve before I need to fill it up or trade it in.
The TW (Tare Weight) marking on the tank will tell you the weight of your cylinder empty (mine is 25.0 lbs). Then I just have to weigh the tank on a scale and subtract this weight from 25.0, leaving me with how much gas is left inside. I suggest using a digital scale to get the most accurate reading.
I determine that I have about 2.5 lbs left inside, leaving me with enough left for one more brew session to force carbonate and start conditioning.
