Vasco: The annual 123rd Shri Damodar Bhajani Saptah commenced on Wednesday with the offering of the shreephal (coconut) to Lord Damodar by a member of the Joshi family.

#Saptah|| A glimpse of Vasco Saptah, which was held after a gap of two years on such a large scale.

Being held after a gap of two years due to the pandemic, the saptah took off in a grand manner with all ritualistic fervour and continuous 24-hour bhajans by devotees.
For the past two years, celebrations were restricted to the Joshi family and the temple. On Wednesday, Thousands of devotees queued at the Shri Damodar temple at Vasco to offer prayers and get a glimpse of the god they fondly refer to as Dambab.
