The Australian National University is poised to play a key role in a new Australian space agency, currently being considered by the federal government, and to help drive Australia's future space industries.
Located at the Australian National University's Mount Stromlo Observatory the Advanced Instrumentation and Technology Centre (AITC) is a national facility in Canberra, Australia. It was established to support the development of the next generation of instruments for astronomy and space science.
The AITC is intended to be part of Australia's technological tool box, available to all academic, industry and research organisations.
