The Evolution of the City and County of San Francisco’s Digital Team
October 12, 2022
12PT/1MT/2CT/3ET
Public servants delivering digital services are invited to this small group discussion about the evolution of the City and County of San Francisco’s Digital Services team. Join us for this lively discussion where we will hear directly from the leaders who have been part of the San Francisco Digital Services Team from Day 1. We will discuss: the role of strategy in organizational change; leadership and decision making models; how policy is separate from delivery, and critically important; how these leaders set achievable objectives that allow for wider success. Facilitated by U.S. Digital Response’s Krista Canellakis, this event will include a brief introduction to the roles and perspectives of our three speakers, a candid discussion, and time for audience questions. You’ll leave the event with some helpful resources and insights on the creation, growing pains, and the journey of a digital services practice for your organization.
Speakers:
Matthias Jaime, Deputy Secretary of Technology, California Government Operations Agency (former Director of San Francisco Committee on Information Technology, 2014-2021)
Carrie Bishop, Stanford MSx 2023 (former Chief Digital Services Officer City & County of San Francisco, 2017-2022)
Cyd Harrell, Chief Digital Services Officer, City & County of San Francisco (2022- present)
Facilitated by Krista Canellakis, U.S. Digital Response (former Chief Innovation Officer, City & County of San Francisco
