The BIG PROBLEM that cleaners have when they use a vacuum cleaner:
When vacuuming, you’re picking up all sorts of things. These are things that can be divided into 3 categories:
1) Harmless Stuff: These are things that are relatively safe for you to handle or come into contact with (e.g. dust)
2) Potentially Harmful Stuff: These are things that you don’t want to touch or breathe in. (e.g. silica dust, concrete dust, saw dust, pest droppings, etc.)
3) Unknown Stuff: Things that you can’t see, and you don’t know that you’re picking up!
The problem occurs when the vacuum tank fills up and has to be emptied. Most people take their canister vacuum and tip the tank over a dumpster or waste container to empty it out.
While most of the garbage may be going into the dumpster, the fine particles that were picked up with the vacuum cleaner become airborne again.
When the fine dust particles become airborne, you breathe those particles in which could be very dangerous for you or your crew’s health.
At Centaur, we recognize the seriousness of this problem and have worked hard to find a solution for it!
Watch this video to see how the Centaur Falcon-5 “lung protection” vacuum makes it easy and safe to dispose of hazardous dust & debris.
