Day 7 was a short but beautiful day. Another day of 70 and sunshine, we walked just under 6 miles over the Georgia mountains (Kelly Knob was a beast) to get down to Dick’s Creek Gap. In case you were wondering, Pink Flops was only hiking in flip flops for the day since her shoes had rubbed her heels raw. We heard she picked up a pair of Xeros at Around the Bend and kept on hiking. It was awesome to have her in the tramily for the day, though. We had a blast with Burnt Tuna and Amanda in Hiawassee! Today really was a positive day!
