This twilight panorama of New Orleans was taken by Christopher Gjevre. Featured to the far left is the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, home to the New Orleans Saints football team and host to the annual Sugar Bowl. Moving right is Plaza Tower, the tall building with the mushroom top. In the center background is One Shell Square, the tallest building in both the city of New Orleans and in the state of Louisiana. To the far right is the Crescent City Connection, which refers to twin cantilever bridges that cross over the Mississippi River. A culturally rich city, New Orleans is known for its world-renowned restaurants, antique shops, jazz music and annual Mardi Gras celebration.
