"Almost a month since the Congress presidential election, Senior Congress leader and MP from Thiruvanantpuram Shashi Tharoor has found himself isolated in the party. Post the elections, Shashi Tharoor has been virtually ignored for the organizational responsibilities under new president Mallikarjun Kharge. Tharoor was earlier serving as the National President of the All India Professional Congress. He resigned from the post in order to contest the Congress President’s election. Since his defeat in the organizational election, the new leadership has almost turned its back on the leader. Tharoor’s name doesn’t even figure in the list of star campaigners of the party.
Having been overlooked for organizational role at National level, the leader has turned his focus to state politics of Kerala. But there too Shashi Tharoor is facing much troubles.
