Primary Election Reminder - Your Absentee By-Mail Application must be postmarked on or before August 8, 2020 in order to receive an Absentee By- Mail Ballot. Remember, Alaska is a no-excuse state meaning anyone may request an Absentee Ballot without needing a reason.
Your Absentee By-Mail Ballot must be postmarked on or before August 18, 2020 in order for it to be counted.
As always, you can choose how you want to vote. Early Voting in the Alaska Primary Election starts August 3, 2020. Voting early is a great way to stay safe by avoiding larger crowds. You can also feel safe voting in person, as we are taking every precaution recommended by the CDC and Alaska Health & Social Services.
