Structural equation modeling (SEM) is one of the most powerful techniques for analyzing data based on theory. This presentation will introduce and conceptually explain SEM and allow clinicians and researchers to understand the methodologies used in publications and better synthesize results across studies.
Dr. Pohlig is the Biostatistician for the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences. He possesses a degree in Research Methodology, with a primary focus on Statistics. He has participated in research from a wide range of fields including Health Sciences (Nursing, PT, Epidemiology, Dietetics, Clinical Trials), Psychology, Biomechanics, Social Work, and Law. His interests include Structural Equation Modeling, Mixed Modeling, Mediation and Moderation Analyses, and Study Design.
