Hundreds of University of California workers spent Tuesday on strike. It’s day two of a three-day strike planned this week. The strike is centered around contracts for service workers. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employee (AFSCME) Union wants a six percent raise. In a news release, the University of California said it can’t justify what it calls an excessive raise.
