I'm very happy to take inspiration for my builds from far and wide and, in this case, it meant buying part of a Friends set (41375). Although the rollercoaster in that set is questionable, I really like the natural movement and different shape of its Spinning Chair Ride. Clearly this needed motorising for my fairground, the chairs needed alterations as well as doubling in number, and also the colour palette needed a lot of changes. I also decided to cover the rim of the top with 64 Vidiyo tiles, which is a good use of those wonderful graphics. I'm very happy with the end result which fits brilliantly into the city!
