It’s now the start of March, the month everyone has been waiting for, and I’m delighted to start sowing my first batch of flower seeds.
Today I am sowing:
Coleus
Pansy
Petunia
Lobelia
Geranium
Dahlia
Foxglove
And I am sowing these flower seeds in my new self-watering seed tray kits from Garland and will be placing the trays directly into my greenhouse onto heat mats until they germinate.
This is a trial to see if my unheated greenhouse is going to be a suitable way to start these seedlings off. Will it be too cold for them? And will I be better off investing in an indoor lighting system next year? Only time will tell 😊
