Ayush Mantralaya Kadha recipe | Kadha for Immunity | Healthy Kadha
In the wake of COVID-19, AYUSH Mantralaya, in collaboration with renowned Vaidyas (Ayurvedic medicine practitioners) in India suggested many vital steps to boost our immunity. One of the steps was to consume Ayush Mantralaya Kadha once or twice a day to build immunity and fight the common cold. We believe a Vitamin C rich diet is necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle. Ingredients:
8 to 10 Holy Basil leaves (Tulsi)
1 piece Cinnamon (Dalchini)
1 inch Ginger (Adrak)
10 to 12 Black peppercorns (kalimirch)
7 to 8 Raisins (Kishmish)
Optional Ingredients:
Jaggery
Fresh lemon juice
Procedure:
1) Heat 4 cups of water in a vessel, add 1 inch crushed ginger, tulsi leaves, crushed dalchini and kalimirch, kishmish and jaggery.
2) Bring all the ingredients to a boil on medium flame, Strain the Kadha, add lemon juice as per requirement, and stir well
3) Garnish with Pudina leaves and serve hot
