In this video I'll be using adobe audition but you can also do the second method directly in premiere pro. Quick tip - you can edit audio in audition without needing to export it from premiere. You can use dynamic link for that by right clicking on your audio and selecting edit in adobe audition.
Anyways, removing breaths with autoheal gets you manual control of every segment. And I like that, however it takes a long time and if you're recording a podcast or soemwthing this will not be logical to use. So the next best thing is using autogate. Settings are quite simple and you get truly good results when using this.
