Kununurra surprised us, in a good way! There was a lot to see and do. In this video we hike up Kelly's Knob Lookout and see for miles and miles. Kelly's Knob Lookout has two walking tracks one easy and one a bit more challenging. The lookout is only a 5 minute drive from the centre of town. Kununurra is also home to Mirima National Park. Only a few minutes from Kelly's Knob this National Park has an entry fee per vehicle of $15. Well worth it as they do a wonderful job providing accessible walking tracks and amenities. Breathtaking scenery and a great walk. The path is scattered with signs indicating traditional Aboriginal plants used for food and materials. A visit to Kununurra is not complete without a stop at Ivanhoe Crossing. It is only a short drive out of town and you pass the sandalwood farms along the way.
