Wow, what a difference! The new Isuzu D-Max is such a huge improvement over the previous version that it isn't even funny. There's a new X-Terrain top trim, designed to compete with the Ranger Wildtrak and HiLux SR5. The new D-Max shares its underpinnings with the new Mazda BT-50 – but Isuzu did all the mechanical bits. So, what's the new D-Max like on road and off-road? We take a look at the new three-litre ute to start finding out. What do you think of the Isuzu? Do you value the 'truck engine'?
