This dance was performed by Warner Iversen on the Scholarship Recipients’ Concert at the LSA 2014 Lute Festival in Cleveland. The piece is taken from the Saldívar Codex no. 4, a manuscript compiled in Mexico around 1732. The Baroque guitar Warner plays was made by Ivo Magherini in 2012 after Giovanni Tessler c. 1620 Rome. The stringing is nylgut using the tuning a-a/d'-d/g-g/b-b/e'
